SUS304 Stainless Steel exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and high ductility, making it ideal for medical device tubing applications. Its composition - containing 18–20% Cr and 8–10.5% Ni - ensures superior biocompatibility and stability in saline or irrigating environments. Unlike TP316L, SUS304 lacks molybdenum, resulting in slightly lower resistance to chlorides but sufficient performance for short-term irrigation procedures. It maintains consistent dimensional accuracy, smooth inner/outer surfaces, and tight tolerances critical for reliable fluid delivery. Widely used in endoscopic, dental, and urological irrigation systems where cost-effectiveness and reliability are balanced.
